One thing i did with a light tile floor i had in a previous house is i scrubbed the grout in the high traffic areas with a toothbrush.

Then you re ready to mop your tile floors. Lifting your empty mop bucket up to the faucet to fill it is easy enough. Working in small sections i literally just poured a small amount of the tile cleaner directly onto the floor and with a rough scrub brush which i dampened with water scrubbed in a circular motion. Mix a mild detergent with hot water and apply with a rag or chamois mop instead of a sponge mop.

You can use a commercially prepared grout cleaner or a mild bleach to spray into the grout while cleaning. High traffic areas meet clean. Fill buckets with a noodle. Once you ve removed the dirt you re ready to mop.

Regular and efficient cleaning is the key to keep tiles free of stains and mold. Spray some resolve carpet cleaner into the grout lines scrub with a brush and let it sit for about 10 minutes before wiping off. Basically make a sink full of hot tea and mop your wood floors with the solution while the tea is still very warm. Just slide one end over the faucet point the other end into the bucket and turn the water on.

Make sure to maintain the cleanliness of your grout. You ll end up with fresh and sanitary grout and great looking tile floors. Fill your mop bucket up with hot black tea and mop while the water is still warm. You can avoid this entirely by using a pool noodle to help fill your bucket.

Use a cleaner that has been designed for grout in conjunction with a soft bristled toothbrush.
